The question to me with Jennings is whether or not he has learnt to pass the ball when he sees there is an opporunity showing on his outside, meaning he should ensure its created & pass to Semi, or hog it & we do not score. This will also show up how well Corey can read a game a bit earlier & pass straight to Semi, he did it last year but with Jennings rather than Taka, it may be different.
Jennings is lightning fast especially in take off but & that's also Semi's strength ittle doubt that if both can work it together it will be something to see.
The killer though could be if Jennings is there to prove something against his old club, I hope I am wrong.
What if Jennings hogs it and we do score? Isn't that just as good? Especially because there's reduced risk of a dropped pass or touching the sideline.
Exactly, don't care who scores as long as they do
for all I care Tim Mannah can run 100 metres from the kickoff and never even look to pass as long as he scores
Daytime.
Poupou, in the first sentence my indication is that Jennings needs to learn to pass the ball to the outside man, when he sees that opportunity, the beauty of 2 speedy off the mark players is that it can put the opposition in 2 minds especially wingers if they come in, Jennings passes & Semi if off, if he doesn't & dummies Jennings scores.
The end result is in his hands, 4/6 or nothing. I think its possibly his greatest weakness in attack. It means that Jennings has to read the play better than he has shown in the past, as wingers hold back & its been too late to pass or let alone dummy, & the play breaks down.
