Sad to say a few days ago, an Eels brother and diehard Parramatta fan, Billy Frost, 29, from Amity Point, North Stradbroke island, was working solo off Amity point and did not return home in his shark boat from his usual drum line diving.

His mates found his boat later that day and found he had got somehow tangled in a drum line and tragically drowned.

He leaves behind lovely wife Fiona who states he was a massive eels fan and said he lit up every room he went into, blessings to her and all of Billy's family in what must be very traumatic times for them, im sad to hear about your loss and its sad to know weve lost a fellow diehard eels army member..

Im not sure if Billy was a member here or anybody knows him? but thought he definitely deserved a thread here as he was an Eels brother and part of the eels family as every eels fan is.

Sadly Bill never got to see his club win a comp.

Its never good to see a young man cut down in his prime, he looks like a great fella, at least he was doing what he loved.

May the road rise up to meet you Bill and the wind be at your back, forever an eel, RIP

"Zach will eventually get back into the nrl, no one hates him it's just a bigger issue in the game. These contracts are useless and storm trying to benefit from it. Eels need to get proper value in return."
