Right Side Attack

Have to say how good our right side attack looked last night and even last week. It has the ingredients to be one one of the best if not the best attacking edges in the NRL next year. When we get good go forward like last night they have time and space to operate. Turning into the 2013 Roosters left edge of Pearce, Cordner, Jennings and topou that took them to the title last year.Sandow - always has had the smarts and creative ability to be a top 7 but lacked the supporting cast to be able to execute. Last night he showed the full range including Grubbers, short balls, cut outs, the play out the back and running himself.Moeroa - the missing link. While not the game from the week before the hype, size and ability of this kid coupled with his line running create space and attract defenders. The Sio try was the perfect example, Moeroa attracted 2 defenders on his unders line run which held up defenders allowing Sandow to hit Sio. There was a further time the commentators mentioned the short ball would have seen him go over. His combination with Sandow will only get better over time.Hayne - no suprises here. The superstar attracts defenders wherever he runs. On the Sio try after Moeroa held up 2 Taylor committed to a Hayne creating further space. If Taylor hadn't Hayne was in untouched. He will always attract defenders although with Moeroa attracting them inside it puts Hayne one on one close to the line and I'll back him every time.Hoppa- his return creates the forth piece of the puzzle. While he still is getting back to his best his quality, speed, step and strength as well as ability to set up his outside man mean that the ball in his hands is a dual threat for defenders and he often makes the right decision.Sio or another finisher- showed signs last week of what this edge could do although Toutai couldn't finish it off. This week Sio did a wingers job and finished off all the work on the inside. If he isn't back then a finisher with a bit of size maybe Goodall or Folau to take over and get the job done.

  • Repeat sets are what helped us out last night. Keeps pressure on the defending side and gives us more chances in attack.

"Vegas is great. If you love absolutely crude humour and people making fun of all people of races, sexuality, looks everything, go and see Absinthe at Caesar's Palace. Quite possibly one the best comedy shows i have ever seen."
