"Didn't BA resign"
"Holbrooks a Newcastle man though and through . It's his team . Virtually the whole 2001 team were at his wedding . He's the best fit by a country mile . He's also a great halves coach so if anyone's going to get anything out of Brown , it's him . "
The Newcastle Knights are set to rubber stamp the appointment of Justin Holbrook as the club’s new head coach at a board meeting on Monday night. It comes as the Sydney Roosters prepare to replace Holbrook, their current assistant coach, with former…

They were eels defend is that Dunster jams in and D Brown runs from his spot in cover defence. Hence, when we defend with 12 players, that system does not work anymore.
It was most of the game. Rushing in and hoping the cover defence will hold up is not a sustainable solution.
Well you can't blame Dunster for a 3 man overlap. DB needs to count numbers and control that side.
Dunster had a awesome defensive game, considering he spent most time covering 2 players. Opi had a shocker.
From my seat in front of the box, I thought Dunster had a solid game, there was one missed tackle that he tried to recover, but even the aspect that he along with Opi came in field, much like Ferts & Waqa did, as the ball was spread by Wests, both of them were able to move out to the side and cover the attack. Dunster let one past him but chased and brought him down.
The right side defence is much better with the moves so far, with Waqa & Opi swapping sides and Dunster on the wing.
Even if they manage to keep it up with the cover defence against the betters teams which I doubt will be the case, it puts the defence on the back foot and the attacking team are able to get a roll on.
No, no, no in the words of Gus Gould. Defended and slid well.
I thought our edge D was good. I didn't have a problem with it
I just got home . Thought the defence was generally good out on the edges. ONe thing I noticed, ROBERTS was literally on the sideline which caused Doughi to kep racing up. GUTHO had eyes up every set. It was literally on all day that hole. DUNSTER is a good little player. Hate to say it but FERGO might finish a EEl in the Reggies. Except for thgis week to replace SIVO.
Paul, when (I think it was Moses) made run & scored, I noticed Roberts, used to be called Jimmy the Jet trying to run down the eels player who gotten past him and the other defenders on his side, in the past he would have got to the eels player, I guess he's more of Propelor driven player, than a jet.
I must have been watching another game because I thought both sides of defence were good today. I know Tigers didn't throw too much at them, but I'm happy how both sides are shaping up after BA swapped the centers. We don't feel as vulnerable.
