Canberra coach Ricky Stuart has praised the Parramatta Eels performance in the 2014 season as prepares to face his old club "they have had a good season and I think a lot of it comes down to guys like of Corey Norman and Nathan Peats, I knew when I signed them the team would push for a top 8 spot."
He also suggested it was unlikely they had any chance to make the 8 now "They have the cattle now, but last week they were thoroughly beaten and out-coached, speaking truthfully that is their weakness, Parramatta need more then a rookie coach to make the finals."
Stuart is happy in the nations capital "I made the right choice coming down here and I have no regrets, the opportunity this week to beat Parramatta and knock them out is mouth watering and we will show them where we are at."
This will be an important win for the Green Machine, who now sit two points clear from the bottom of the ladder "We should be favourites, we had them in Darwin and Jarryd Hayne stole it from us, that won't happen again! in fact if Parramatta win I will skinny dip in lake Jindabyne"
