RICHIE PORTE TOUR OVER AGAIN AFTER BAD FALL

Sadly its all over for the Aussie after having a real bad fall after miss judging a corner during a fast decent travelling at approx 75km, it ended with him flying accross the road on his back and hitting an embankment, he wasnt getting up after that.

Hes still down on the road after 10 minutes with medics, tour over for Richie, shattering for the bloke as he crashed last year too and was putting good pressure on Froome.

Edit, hes been put on a stretcher and put in a medics van in neck brace, not looking good, his team has already tweeted thats his tour over.

  Wouldnt be surprised if hes broken a collar bone there or a few ribs, ill be very surprised if he comes out of that with nothing broken, real nasty fall, very disappointing

Gutted. Thought he was a big hope this year. Hope he is ok and can bounce back next year.

  Yeah he was looking pretty good.
  
  Wierd crash - usually they overshoot on the quick downhills - he seemed to be in the dirt on the inside of the corner before he even knew where he was. It will be interesting to see what he has to say about it in due course..
