Reynolds priced out of Eels move
ADAM Reynolds has committed his future to Souths – but only because he priced himself out of Parramatta’s reach.
The 26-year-old wanted a three-year deal at the Eels – $600,000 the first season, $800,000 the second and a cool $1 million the third.
Parramatta rated Reynolds and were desperate to sign him as a replacement for Kieran Foran, but not for that kind of money.
The 26-year-old recently signed a four-year extension at the Rabbitohs that will see him remain at the club until the end of 2021.

It's great to see players wanting to come to Parra rather than just looking for ridiculous paydays. His asking price isn't overs for a player of his class, but BA obviously thinks there's better choices out there.
I'd say if there was anything to this Ben Hunt rumour it must be at a good price if we weren't interested in Reynolds.
Reynolds is a good player but the money he was chasing was laughable, he can tackle and kick but his play making skills are pretty average.
That's why we need to lock in some long term potential
I don't really trust RLW and the mole but if this is true then it's good to hear that we didn't want to spend what we deemed overs for a player.
Norman locked in, and we have Fog, Robson, a a couple of skilful kids and rumour were chancing more halves Pong and Hunt.
Reynolds is a good player and great kick (we need one), but his injury prone status must be a concern with a massively increasing deal like he wanted.he is a risk just like Watmough was.
Same money as we offered Hayne haha, ummm no thanks.
