RABBITOHS halfback Adam Reynolds will be sidelined for up to five months with busted knee ligaments following the controversial late hit that decided Good Friday at ANZ Stadium.Souths coach Michael Maguire on Friday night confirmed his star playmaker — who limped out of Olympic Park on crutches, his left leg in a brace — was gone for “anywhere between three and five months” following the 79th minute tackle by Canterbury captain James Graham. The incident, which saw Graham put on report and penalised, effectively decided the game after Rabbitoh Bryson Goodwin converted the penalty for a 18-17 win.More worryingly, the hit also ignited a host of ugly scenes that included Bulldogs players abusing match officials, Josh Reynolds allegedly throwing a kicking tee at his Souths’ namesake and Canterbury fans pelting officials with bottles as they fled the field under security escort.James Graham hits Adam Reynolds after his field-goal attempt. Source: FoxSportsAsked about the Graham tackle, where the English international took out the left leg of Reynolds while attempting to charge down a field-goal attempt, Maguire said: “I can’t make comment around the actual incident, that’s in the game’s hands.“But I’ve lost my halfback. We’ve had a look at his lateral ligament and, unfortunately, it’s not attached any more.“Adam has got to go get some scans but, yeah, worst case scenario.”Maguire also confirmed that he had been made aware of an incident involving Josh Reynolds in the dying stages of the match. The Belmore No. 6 is alleged to have hurled a kicking tee at the injured halfback as he hobbled back across halfway. It’s understood police evicted six supporters from ANZ Stadium — two for throwing projectiles.ttp://m.foxsports.com.au/nrl/adam-reynolds-out-for-up-to-five-months-with-knee-injury-after-rabbitohs-win-over-bulldogs/story-e6frf3ou-1227290589773

  • Wow. Souths are gone. Parra to win the comp!!
  • Shame. I guess the rule was meant to stop this kind of devastating injury from happening.

  • Wow. Feel for the guy that's terrible. 100% Graham's fault, he should be suspended.
    • Graham should get the same length of time that Paulo got. At least Ballin got up, finished the game and is still playing
  • Better cheer them up on the Souths forums then.
  • Although I would say the collision was unintentional, it was absolutely unnecessary for Graham to end up in that very dangerous position.
  • Based on Graham's history ,he should be rubbed off for a while.
    • I bet he gets off light because he a dog.BUT IF HE PLAY WITH US HE BEE GONE FOR LIFE

  • There’s the answer right there.
