This is an article from back in 2020, it is a good read overall about coaches who have been sacked and looking for another go or rookies. Shane Richardson brought up the example of which to employ. Stating a club that has limited leadership in the playing group, an experienced coach is the way to go. However, if there players that possess experience and leadership, a rookie coach can rejuvenate them. It makes sense.
Now is all this making me want BA back? Well no as i feel he would get the same result in 2025 of a coach we get having a bad year. However, some say we should have kept BA and maybe look for a coach for 2026, well we would have been in the same boat of no no.1 candidates. Coaches like Bennett coming available happens once in every blue moon. So it is not like we hire someone in this cycle and think "Damn, wish we watied another year or two" the market would have been the same. Sometimes it can great hiring or just luck of the draw.
