Retiring the Jersey

The suggestion has been made a couple of times since Hindy announced his retirement to retire the Number 11 jersey in respect of him. It's something that is very rare in Rugby League to see. The last team to do it was Newcastle after the retirement of Andrew Johns. In Newcastle's first game after Johns' retirement Jarrod Mullen wore the Number 18. I believe that Hindy's jersey number should be retired in Round 1 next season. The club has enough jerseys to cover it for 1 game and it would be a really great gesture from the club to acknowledge the service of Hindmarsh over the past 15 years. I'm sure the fans would like to see it.
