Resting Players

If Melbourne win tonight should we rest all our players as we won't have much to play for?

  • Depends have to see this weekend results with rabbits and roosters cause these two play each other next week do U wanna finish 5th and play 8 if we beat storm or finish 6 or 7 and play rabbits or roosters

  • If we can't go any lower or higher I think resting junior, rcg, Moses, gutho, reed, ipap would be a good idea. But only if we can't go any higher or lower

  • Thile a team is playing well momentum plays a big part, better to go easy on them at training than resting players.

    • Apparently the opposite is happening, the opposed sessions have gotten pretty physical, Niukore, JA and one other had stitches from head clashes during training this weekend.

  • No, we need to build momentum

    • Agree with momentum & consistency, week off could throw our alignment out. Our team has been resting every second week anyway with our loses, they dont deserve a week off (unless forced by injury).

We are mentally weak as it is, last thing we need is give our players false hope that we are good enough that we can sit this out. Now more than ever we need consistency & momentum.

Fire on all cylinders from now on........... leave nothing in the tank!!

      • Agreed, apparently the training sessions have gone up a notch too, three players including Niukore & JA got stitches due to head clashes in training this week.
