  We need to re-sign him, but he isn't worth anywhere near $800k now. Too many indiscretions recently. Wouldn't offer him more than $600-$650k, and a termination clause in his contract that if he has any further issues his contract is void

  Completely agree eels_brad. He is a very talented player but you need more than just talent to ask for massive money. I would say $650k to $700k is the most he should be offered. If he leaves to play for a lesser team for more money then so beit. I hope he stays but our club needs to have the right kind of board and players. Our brand is what's most important and at the moment it's suffering.

  Sorry mate but the way our season has panned out I half expect the Footy Gods to continue with their mischief maybe whilst we stand ole Dozy down & feel nobly self righteous in doing the correct thing, & the NRL subsequently pontificate & sanctimoniously rub him out for the rest of the season & possibly allow the Dragons to redeem his career in 2017 aka Dugan & Ferguson.

    Let's hope he doesn't get the sack before Norman decides his future. I'll be shattered if we lose both our halves in 1 year..

  The club is in a crap situation, Norman is on fire, possibly the inform half in the comp. Unfortunately for him and the club, he's been photographed having yum cha with the worst of the worst, he's been caught with illegal drugs and pleaded guilty and if that wasn't enough, now he's starred in a home made porno.

  How can a club be seen rewarding a player with his recent record with a contract? I have no doubt the deal is done, signed and delivered, he will be an Eel for the next three seasons, just don't expect the club to announce his re signing anytime soon.
