Re-sign Lasalo now

The only thing I know about 2011 so far is that Taniela Lasalo has been our best player week-in, week-out. Let's keep in mind this is only his second season as a second rower, so he's only going to get better. At the start of the season, I saw Taniela as a talented player that was going to get pushed out by the number of second row options we had, but right now he's our best performing second rower bar none.

    I agree. Lasalo is a long, long way ahead of Ben Smith right now.

    Yer he runs very good lines, which even makes mortimer look good when he passes it to him.

    Given Osborne's recruitment and retention skills, he will probably sit on his hands for most of the season and Lasalo will get snapped up by the Bulldogs.

    I think Parra Maffia is trying to get me fired up about our back row that never hits the ball up, needs zimmer frames, and crabs sideways !!

    Sign Lassalo as a priority. Get AK 47, Get Hodgkinson, Get Wolfman,

    Yes sign him now! What is his contract term at the moment? And I also  think Casey Maguire has been our best so far. That's why my face is :( over his calf injury.

    With all this supposed money left over this year, why have we not used it on extending contracts of our young promising players..? There isn't gonna be anyone else magically pop up to use that money on.

    It seems to be just another quality Eels management policy...wait so long 4  club developed juniors like Lasalo...or Allgood...to show some NRL playing ability..stuff around with them ...then while doing so.... bump up their asking price ...eg Justin Horo....sound familiar ?....

    Ossy the Clown will probably let Lasalo and Allgood go but snap up 33yo Andrew Ryan for a swansong with his mate Hindy and re-sign Ben Smith for another 4 years.
