Representative Eels?

With the Eels coming back into form I reckon a few of the boys have put themselves back in the frame for rep honours.

Would love KK to get the expereince of playing for City but if there was any player I'd love to see get a spot it would be Luke Burt. The guy has never played rep football but there's not too many better wing men in the game IMO.

Hindmarsh has to be a chance again, and you can throw in  a host of others into calculations.

Who can you see getting the call up?

  • Hayne will be in for Australia and NSW of course, of the rest I'd say only Mannah has a chance to make City
  • It is amazing Burty has never tasted rep football, especially considering the "wild cards" that get a run in City/Country sides. Maybe he will be a Hazem El Masri and those honours come late. I hope he doesn't from a greedy point of view, no reason to risk an injury!!

Talking of wild cards, why not Tim Mannah getting a run as a potential future Origin player?? I would pick him before an incumbent Origin player in Poore.

Hindy will at least make the Country side, especially on tonights performance and he is the incumbent Origin Second Rower.

    Inu for the Kiwis???
    • Fui is a certainty surely?
    • Burt deserves MUCH MUCH MUCH more recognition.
  • Mannah for sure... Apart from Snowden and Weyman, NSW have very few in form props... You would think Mannah will mae City... and Poore will make something on reputation
    • I still cant get my head around how the ARL can schedule the Australia and NZ test, and the City V Country clash on the same night?? That should be one of the first things the Independent commission fixes up!
  • Yeah of course, Fui for NZ definitely! Wasn't even thinking of the Kiwis heh. Inu probably not.

Hindy hasn't played Origin since '07 and I can't see them recalling him. Similarly they'd probably rather use another 2nd rower for Country as a trial for Origin.
  • fair few.
KK for city. Tahu for country. Hindy and Jarryd for Nsw.
Poore possibly for NSW bench or city/country
    fui for nz

    There prob the defs

i think benny smith, timmy mannah, joel reddy could be city/country worthy but dunno if theres room for em,
  • knowing the blues selectors gidley will prob start at fullback and chuck hayne on the wing, to which if this actually happens i will be absolutely gunning for the maroons out of spite.
  • Burt has been underated for so long..
