Reporters with agendas

There seems to be a reporter out there with an agenda to cause trouble for us.

He was there today trying to stir up trouble for Sivo and Niukore.

For example he made a point of asking about just Nuikore's tackle on Smith but said nothing about the much worse Olam late tackle on Moses. Actually he did more than ask. He set the coaches up and already had the story written.

He seems to have the same anti Parra agenda each week. Cherry picking issues out of context and balance and setting the coaches up for the anti Parra story he wants to write. The problem is that he can bring pressure on the refs to be unbalanced on Parra in following games. For example after the Manly game the refs did not call a forward pass against our opposition for several weeks.

  • Journalists have only one agenda, eyeballs, as many as they can get.

    • That's why I did not post the article but if the reporter was just about eyeballs then he would have written about the more sensational tackle of Olam on Moses - which he did mot mention

  • I agree mate. Bellamy presser wasn't like what the media portrays it to be. He wasn't cranky he praised his team with the injuries catheter had to play as well as they did. He praised the eels defence said it was good. Only said what he said when they directly asked the question over the crusher tackles and that Authur said his team wasn't milking crusher tackles. Was set up to make headlines
