Was away for 3 weeks recently when board members made their submission to NRL regarding penalties. Anybody have any idea of what was said? We badly need these TPAs to be made valid as they impact our cap for the next few years. Hope the submission concentrated on these.

    If they were an inducement to play for the club (and why wouldn't they be, if we were spending time and effort organising them?) then they count under the cap. Just because other clubs do it and don't get caught or even investigated doesn't mean we have a leg to stand on when it comes to this appeal.
