Replacements for injured players

Both Peni Terepo and Frank Pritchard are injured and we obviously need more players, so why doesn't BA put in players that are young and can learn. Players like Marata Niukore, Kelepi Tanginoa and Alex Twal. I don't know about Tanginoa but the other two have massive potential.

It could be worth a shot

  • Youthful enthusiasm - why?????
  • Twals a shitter version of Mannah, hes the next Pat O'hanlon or Mitch Allgood, the club loves blokes like this.

    • 100% agree

  • I wouldn't count Twal out at the moment, and I think you're right, sometimes you need that enthusiasm these younger forwards often bring to the table.

The bench is a perfect place to try these players, as I think sometimes nsw cup that's played in front of 100 odd people stunts their growth.
  • IMO there is merit in what you propose and that being bringing in young players to suffice the need for more players as a result of injuries. The trouble is we have lost two big boppers in Peni and Frank the guys you mention are not that big as yet although Twal and Nuikore may well develope physically into that stature, Kelepi tried to and couldn't play to the same level at the weight.

The other issue mentioned by Chief is enthusiasm another legitimate point but our enthusiasm has risen at training and during the game on the weekend and will be enhanced by the inclusion of Kenny Edwards who exudes passion and enthusiasm in everything he does concerning our footy team as evidenced even in the team Victory song after the game. We probably don't need to test that at this time. I don't know if that is the case, but we will see on Saturday.

Interesting blog Alf, thanks for the effort mate.
