Does anyone think that Reni maybe worth a punt? He can play footy next may unless i misread an article in the sydney morning herald. Im sure he would be keen to play for peanuts for a season just to get back into the NRL
he would certainly add some starch & skill to our pack or off the bench.

No. definitely not. We dont want to bring that sort of culture into our club and we dont want to become a club that buys players instead of bringing them through the junior system.
im a firm believer that you need new blood in a squad and that people deserve a 2nd chance. Remember Fui at the Rabbitohs... i only play for 10 minutes therefore i only train for 10 minutes.
promoting juniors can save money but juniors can get complacent.
No way. The bloke is way too high maintenance and is a proven disruption to team harmony. As Pugger said we don't want that sort of culture brought in.
I don't agree on the buying players bit though. That is the biggest mistake Parra did in the late 80's and early 90's. They just concentrated on the juniors hoping that another crop of legends would come through. They didn't come through and by the time we tried to buy marquee players, it was too late and too expensive to get them. It is the only thing that Super League was good for, allowed us to buy!
If we could pick him up for jack shit why not ..... we have no mungrel on the bench now Fui will be starting.....will have little or no impact with Poore & oake.........
with Matua the price would have to be right though. he seems like hes committed to playing nrl next year. Dell was thrown a life line and that turned out ok.
oake could be a diamond in the rough. i would like to see him into a Gary Larson type of player.
And we can't forget what Dallas Johnson gave to the Storm. He certainly played above his weight. In the end it comes down to how much fight is in the beast, not the size of it.
"Well when you think about it, their spine is not on much. They have no 7 and Tracey is on ok money. Their backline has Crichton on big money but Montoya and Kiraz are on basic and Xerri was on cheap but will be upgraded.
Look at their bench not a…"
"Fuck no poppa

bloody catholic school upbringing undoing me with " forgiveness" and " compassion " 🙄 should have gone to the pubbo school then he'd be on his own 🤔😆"

Matua would be about the same size as well. i agree that given the way the game is played that your bench does need some size.
