Indeed - good times aye Leith..
It would seem our coaching and football staff, including Head OF Football Operations Dan Anderson are doing a magnificent job :)
Rookie, Oh Rookie, where art thou ??
Those were the days when the trophy cabinet always had something in it Leith albeit either something from 1st grade, Reserves, Under 23's or club champ's.
I am somewhat a traditionalist in that GF day used to be just that...a day full of action with: President's Cup; foot races; Reggies; and then of course - the big one. Great stock was put in the lower grades...
Great to see isn't it. Brings back memories of those Sunday afternoons at Belmore sports ground when you'd spend the day watching all three grades slaughter the opposition....Aaah, those were the days.
Maybe, just maybe, this year will see a return to that.....
