Refs ruined the game

The refs are really annoying me with their ridiculous inconsistancies.

Once the 2nd half started we looked sharper than the Dogs, but I couldn't believe the lattitude the ref's were giving in the ruck. The refs were happy to slow the game down and keep the scores close.

Ben Smith got penalsied in teh 4 minute for holding down too long... ... I reckon 90% of the tackles in the 2nd half were longer than Bennies tackle...

Add to that the BS decision on Tahu's head high, then Fui;s.... games just aren't flowing... things have gone backwards big time... this time last year, the refs were dong a much better job in general play... it was video ref decision stuffing this up.

If the refs corrrectly penalised the dogs for flops or holding down to long in the 2nd half we would have won by 30 minmum

Did you noticed that they both ended up on the side trying to run the game about five times. I guess Finchy didn't tell them who the dominate referee would be.

as soon as fui made that hit i said they will put this on report because he made contact with the head even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

and yeh the amount of flops and times they had there hands on the ball and also working the man over once they were trying to get to the play the ball was pretty poorly refereed.

If we had lost we would be spewin about it more. But not even the refs could help the dogs tonight...

  coz refs and the nrl wanna turn the game into touch footy and as soon as a strong gust of wind makes contact with the head they will put it on report. blake green jumped up pretty quik after the penalty was awarded too... what a shock,

I nearly forgot..... the KK try that wasn't a try.... fair enough... but Barba tried to catch the ball.... it was a knock on not a charge down.... Harrigan special once again.

Traditionaly I am not a ref basher.... must be getting old... they really annoy me these days

Agreed Tony, there is just no pleasing some people.

We lose they carry on, and when we win well they carry on even more, get over it people WE WON, we got the 2 points, we beat the grubby Dogs now we move on.

I liked the fact there were less penalties blown. the game flowed better than it does when penalties are constantly blown.

  I disgree. The ruck was held up too much. I really think the refs costs as the ability to score another try inside the first 20 of the 2nd half..... and then the floodgates would open.....If the game was more open I think we would have put on 50.
