  Yep, dick head ref with zero feel for the game, just wrecked it, he took his whistle out in plain sight and he wrecked it, he wrecked the game.

  That penalty was a classic Klein interpretation and should not have been given, it was no penalty at the end of the day.

  The player penalised for not being square in the play the ball, did not get involved in the play as the ball went to the other side of the ruck.

  Even the Ch 9 commentators said the same thing.  How that Ref still is refereeing is beyond me.  For a game as close as it was, such a penalty should never have been given.

    In that game as it had flowed, the better team, momentum etc probably not. But in a different game real league fans most certainly would.

  Would everyone here have been as outraged if the same penalty went against the broncos. Doubt it.

    Based on the penalty, if it was for the same thing,  YES.  I don't like the special treatment that appears to hover over the horses, but that was a penalty that was all wrong.  The so called extra time each way when a draw is there after 80mins, is rubbish, Wests were the better team on the night as they scored a try, but the way both teams played they both deserved a point.

    Get rid of the stupid extra time and you get rid of this sort of issue.  Get rid of Klien and you seal that riddance factor.
