  Chris James. watch out for him. in my opinion he is the worst ref. he gives us nothing. I'll remind everyone again when we lose another game with him.

  When are people going to realise that it's not the refs, they're fine, they are merely Toddy's pawns doing what they are told.
  You really think all these refs are stupid, including the bunker?. We have more refs and touch judges out on the park than ever, plus we have the super bunker and the refereeing is worse than it has ever been.
  The game is a rort. It's also why in most cases the home team wins the penalty count. Um, explain that to me.
  
  Greenburg wants to ensure certain supporter bases are kept happy at certain times to ensure the game doesn't lose supporters to rival codes. Look at the fairytale ending of the past two seasons. He has stated that, 'We are in the entertainment industry, we are here to entertain '.
  Where do the strings stop being pulled to make sure the game is entertaining?
  It's bleeding obvious that the refs aren't making all these mistakes because they are just plain stupid, but Toddy thinks we are.

    Nsw was robbed 3 series in a row by dodgy refs calls.

  Refs have been on the nose before Teflon arrived. Bunker cheats as well now. Ray Charles could see Knights try was a try against Manly and his dead as well. RIP.

  I can understand that Robert and you may be right?

  On another note, NSW may just be 'assisted' by the refs as origin is dying because of QLD's dominance and a NSW win would see it rise back to the heights it once was at.

  If all these betting agencies sponsoring the game doesn't make people suspicious, I must be just paranoid and a conspiracy theorist!

  Refereeing is the single most disappointing thing in this game at the moment. They can turn games on its ear with bad decisions . We are a team that doesn't cope with momentum swings at best of time but we certainly can defend two or three sets in a row .
  
  What gets me is how teams get penalties on the 4th and 5th tackle constantly and we get them tackle 1 - about 5 yards out from our line . The count gets evened up and all is good . We all know possession is the key and field position wins 90% games these days

    The game's a rort, Paul. Has been for a decade, but worse now than ever and more obvious.

    How often do we see a team a heap ahead in the penalty count and when the game is gone, the refs give them a few consolation penalties to balance up the count?
