4Archer has target on his backRoosters coach Trent Robinson will be making the short walk across the Allianz Stadium car park to NRL headquarters this week for a face-to-face discussion with referees boss Tony Archer.Last Monday I mentioned how the Roosters had gone two games receiving just three penalties - a remarkably harsh stance by the referees against the Chooks.Predictably, the Roosters then won the penalties 9-5 the next day against the Dragons - and won the match. But yesterday, the Roosters were again caned 7-2 in Auckland as they fell to a controversial loss to the Warriors. Two crucial calls - the sin-binning of winger Daniel Tupou and the offside penalty against Mitchell Pearce that decided the game - had the Roosters camp seething.Oh to be a fly on the wall when Robinson vents his frustrations to the under-pressure referees boss.

  • It sounds like the Lurker is a Roosters supporter.

    • Or hates parramatta
  • Just hope his little visit to the NRL headquarters (with his brown paper bag) doesn't have detrimental side affects for the upcoming game between Roosters & Eels! He should really wait until after the Eels clash and then he can visit the NRL all he likes.
  • It will have an effect, and let's see who the ref is...Klein? Perenara..?
  • EVERYONE except for some Eels supporters hate Parramatta

  • Not sure what's happened of late. I actually thought for the 1st month of footy the refs weren't going to badly. The last 4 weeks have been terrible.

    GET RID OF THE BUNKER

  • My money is on Cummins.

Why don't they give Kasey Badger and Belinda Sleeman a run with the whistle?

  • We will get ripped off in that game for sure, got to look after uncle nicks roosters. What a joke. Brad should target the refs to. Oh that's right he will get fined not Robinson though
  • I thought that the refereeing in our cows game was quite good? There didn't seem to be many ruck penalties and the ref let the game flow.
    • Best reffing performance for Parra I've ever seen. The refs were very fair and pretty much faultless.
