We had plenty of chances to win that game, reffing was dreadful but still could have won that. The two run away tries weren't on poor reffing.
No however if our other actual tries from Sivo and Blaize were awarded we wouldn't have pushed so hard for a try to catch up and Best wouldn't have been gifted those two tries of his
Exactly, we needed to win by 12 to win, pushing passes, and they got two runaways and a pinball bounce try after our obvious tries were denied. Fucking bunker, if I'd been in there it would have been like a scene from The Boys.
Parra fans are the most loyal in the competition, there is no need to gift us wins to keep our fans supporting the team. They've been giving Melbourne games for years to keep the game alive and hope to break through in the Victorian market against AFL. Newcastle is another important market. Raiders in the ACT.
