Ref Errors Cost Us

Fair enough we were down 31 nil after 65 mins but its an 80 game which the eels found out the hard way last season, if u were to judge parra on the first 65 mins of most games last year they would of been top 4 contenders but unfornuatley its a 80 min game. It just goes to show you cant click off against anyone int the nrl these days becasue teams have the ability to score points from anywhere ont he park. Just some stats to through out there on top of parras poor first 60 mins, after 65 mintues tigers had 68 percentage of the ball compared to our 32 thats a massive difference I dont care what team you are your not gonna win a game with 32 percent of the ball. On top of that it was a 7-2 pentalty count at the stage which is also a massive advantage and 2 of those 7 lead were awarded in the space of 3 tackles for apparent high tackles which (GUS Gould said were both harsh mind you) and lead to a penalty goal which in the end is 2 points they shouldnt of had which could of been the win. In know way am i defending the eels first 60 minutes, my point is that we had no ball, were down on luck and on the end of some questionable calls and were playing poorly on top of that. Look what happens though when we had some ball in the last 15 minutes we looked dangerous and scored some points. So don't give the crap excuse the tigers were horrible or clocked off majorly in the last 15 minutes, they might of taken the foot of a little bit but in saying that theres no way they would of wanted to concede 30 points I strongly believe that they just couldnt contain it. Also if your gonna give the excuse that the tigers clocked off for 15 mins and the eels scored 30 points, well the eels were clocked off for 65 mintues of the game and the tigers managed 31 points, so both I belive that clocking off excuse to be irrelvant. I still am upset like most of the supporters on the website that the eels have the ability to play amazing footy but no on a semi consistant basis. I really dont see the point coming on hear after each loss just yelling the house down saying sack everybody bring in the new blood, if you actually look at our side it is a very young side with a lot of potenital. I do how ever feel that every is intilted to an opinion and belive that fans have the right to be frustrated after a loss and vent some angry on here but calling players this that and the other just isnt on and is helping the club in no way shape or form. Lastly I strongly believe the eels are not a fractured club and the mate ship is there amongst the group. If there wasnt they score line would of blown out to about 50 but they stayed in the for each other and nearly pulled off the best win ever. The huddle at the end also enhances my claim. All in all sorry for the long reply I just wanted to get a few things off my chest and to reply back the the main blog topic I belive ref errors could of cost us the game. Sorry if this post is written poorly or incorrectly I have only ever posted 3 times, long time reader.

  Refs will always make errors, ultimately it's the players errors that put us in that position to be down 31-0. We weren't unlucky, the scoreboard flattered another totally inept performance...I'm not quite sure what the Chelsea reference is about, but since they sacked their coach they've had an amazing winning streak. The top clubs in European football don't mess around with a coach that has failed for over a year, why should we accept failure?

If you really want to whinge and cry about the refs

How would you feel being a Titans supporter?

THREE tries to the Bronx from blatant forward passes.

One try allowed after Norman knocks the ball FORWARD and out of the reach of a defending player to be caught on the full by his team mate.

The refs plus video ref could see nothing wrong.

Hayne got penalised for almost the same move against Cowboys in 2010 when he knocked the ball forward and over Bowen's head to regather on the full and score.
