Howdy all,
there have been a few blogs about our recriutment this year already but looking at the following 2 websites how does our recruitment compare to other clubs?

Broncos - signed Hannat, but lost Inglis and Folau.
Doggies have been busy but who have they bought? Pritchard is great on his day but i put him in the same boat as Mateo - doggies will need to invest a lot off effort to get any return out of him.
Trent Hodkinson - 2nd syndrome, has keating left for greener pastures or jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire???
Raiders gained Brett White but lost Campese.
Sharks have spent some money on some forwards but have more problems in their halves then we do.
Titans seem to be sticking with pretty much the same roster
Manly seem to be sticking with pretty much the same roster
Storm have recruited smartly given the big name players they have lost.
Knights have stocked up on forwards, quality outside backs could be an issue.
Cowboys have been busy, Johnson good pick up and should be able to tackle for both him and Thurston, loss of tate could leave them skinny out wide.
Parra have also been busy, recycling big game players that have either played in Grand Finals, Origin or test matches. what hasnt been noted much is some of the young halfbacks we have signed and young Folau.
Panthers seem to be sticking with pretty much the same roster - Arana Taumata could be interesting
Rabbitohs have Inglis, came at a cost though
Saints seem to be sticking with pretty much the same roster, Adam Cuthbertson could add something to there pack.
Roosters added Watts & Justin Carney
Warriors signed 2 heavily criticised but also talented players - Mateo & Inu
Tigers seem to be sticking with pretty much the same roster
i reckon parra have done alright in the grand scheme of things, promising kids coming through but some hungry players to help carry these kids into 1st grade until they are ready.
Bring on 2011!

We should be focused on the season at hand, the players at the club, and being as passionate, and as heartfelt for the players, the team and the organisation as we can possibly be.
When you do line them up, it appears that we haven't done too badly.
I am with you Hugh, some old-timers with something to prove, youngsters coming through, everyone working their butts off, and the media writing us off.
I am looking forward to 2011.
our retention and recruitment stinks!
having so much money left in the cap is ridiculous
the fans need an explanation from those up top
i agree but to say our recruitment has been ordinary is in fact not quite right. given what was available and taking into account how these players will fit in with the team we have in fact done very well.
The fact we've signed Walker, Hicks and Whatuira indicate the club wants to see players like Loko, Sio, Gagan & Wehbe get more experience under their belts in the NYC and NSW Cup competitions, and move them in when the time is right.
Reni was a great buy as was Webb also.
Both know they have something to prove, and I expect them to do just that.
retention comes down to a matter of opinion.
Mateo and Inu looked stale and need a change of enviroment. Keating im not sure what to make of it, he is a tryer but again not the right fit - adam dykes
Bulldogs signed more players than that.
In the grand scheme of things i dnt think we signed very well. Thats not to say we signed terrible pplayers or that we have become a terrible team. But we are certinaly weaker coming into 2011 than 2010.
we lost a few players after the grand final loss in 2009 though, there expectations of mortimer that may not have been realistic.
but it was a gamble and the gamble didnt pay off!
that is not a good management strategy
