So with the news that anyone with a half a brain saw coming finally out and done with Semi. We have a bit of a war chest what? do we need to recruit not who what.Hooker goes without question that this looks to be our biggest issue. Alot of criticism goes on IDG's running game some of it is fair, but if we think about peats while he has a running game BA's style of play is very halves centric and we didn't see peats run as much as he did with the titans, what weve missed is his line speed whilst IDG has this he doesn't have the 1st contact peats did he cuts players down where peats hit. This quality is what we should be looking at.Winger. Obviously semi has all sets of unique skills scoring tries can be replaced all wingers can do that, semis biggest attribute in my opinion is his work on tackle 1 or 2 getting the set started with a small fullback like french this is something we need. Maybe we have someone who can fill that role already but again this is something we need to look at its all well and good to have a fast flashy winger but if he can't do the grunt work its pointless.Halves. 50/50 for me i see great potential in norms/gutho partnership and with robson around we have a back up/mentor. Then the Fog and young Dargan are project players. First half of the season will decide if this is a area of need.So like i said in my opinion we need to recruit based on specific skill sets that complement the team, any thoughts? Wouldn't it be great if peats just came back next year.

  True but what type if hooker would suite our style. You get a farrah type who kills halves input or A jake friend would be great skillful and tough. That being daid the half id chase would be pearce as shit as he is in rep footy his 1st grade career is very solid.

I recon if we have 1m to spend lets say, we'd have to be spending the bulk on a top class half and the rest on a hooker, that would eat up more tham 1m, those two things would have to be first priority.

Tia Marie - Martin will be the best half in the world bar injury in a couple of years . Buy him! Build a club around him. Penrith would have no chance matching our price. Do it before he proves just how good he is this year. The kids got a great kicking and passing game as well as a sublime running game . He's got it all.
