Edwards hasn't been released from the Eels, just stood down indefinitely. We will have to wait and see what happens but you would have to think he would be gone, but if not there would have to be one hell a a clause put in his contract that if he farts without permission from the Eels he is gone.
I really like the energy Kenny plays with and that he has that X factor about him but it is now very apparent that he will never live up to the talent he has because he cannot get himself together off the field. Another player with all the potential in the world but will be remembered as a could of but didn't.
The way todays stories have it with Kenny that he has misled the eels over the incident gives them enough of a case to terminate him, but I suspect they will wait on the court case and what happens then the NRL will also make their call along with the eels.
Its a shame that he has not learnt anything since he's been here at the eels in his off field drama's as he is well like in the playing group and with the supporters, his family must also be gutted with whats happened as well. Hard to know what will happen but as he is top 30, the NRL may, note may give some allowance for the eels to bring a young player out of the development squad into the 30. If that happens I think Stone would be the man.
