Hey guys and girls. I am looking at taking my boys to Hawaii next year and was wondering if anybody had some good places to stay so we can just relax. Also close to good shopping area as well as things for the boys to do. Thanks in advance

Hawaii's the best mate :)
In Waikiki (Honolulu) we like The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort (used to be called The outrigger Waikiki On The Beach).. It's literally right on Waikiki Beach in a great position. The sand goes right up to the foyer. There's also a towel hut on the beach for guests. It's straight across from the International Market Place and close to all the Waikiki shops.
Ocean View rooms can be a bit exie but the city view rooms are fine and you can get some great deals.
If you go to Maui, try the Westin Resort and Spa at Kanapaali Beach. Beautiful. Again right on the beach and there are 7 interconnecting pools which the kids will love. And the waiter will bring you beers straight to your deck chair while you keep an eye on the kids.
