Capitan fucking Obvious could have told us that Moses was hard to replace... but why o why make it harder.
- Brown is a brilliant 5/8 but we will not benefit with him at half
- Blaize could well be a brilliant 5/8 but not without the stability of a brilliant or at worst solid half
- Blaize or Bailey S to centre
- we need to replace like for like and not weaken two positions when injury

- drop Harper, he is slow..very very slow and has hands like feet.
- drop Sivo, just as slow and no ticker.
Yes this was the first game without Moses but to be caught on the last tackle 5 times with no positional kick either in goal or downfield is madness.

I don't think we can blame the loss of Moses dor losing a game agaunst a guy who'd played 3 games and a reject nobody wanted. We have Brown who should be able to play a basic halfbacks game. Our forwards were shit , Junior pushing ridiculous passes, Brown playing I like he had 40 minutes to live , Sivo was not even reserve grade level, as usual we just waltzed up expecting to win. We have a poor culture and big egos . Gutho played well , but I just don't think he gets the concept of being an onfeild leader . A real captain would be able to adress this attitude . The realitity is , unfortunately I think he's the root of this attitude.
Agree. Every Eels forward wanted to be a half back today. So we lacked the usual punch through the middle. This is because super coach has put fck all system in place. Take Penrith as an example, they all know their roles and they stick to it, no one tried being a Nathan Cleary.
Seriously, how hard is it to understand how Penrith plays that make them so good. Why can't half a brain coach see that. It's a real basic game. Have a simple structure, get fast tough outside backs that takes the load off your forwards. Have forwards that just punches the line with speed and quick play the balls.
Our outside backs must change. Sivo and Harper must go. We need Lomax ASAP before the season is over. Trade in Sivo and Matto (even Ofa), we can do without all 3. For next season, recruit Turuva from Penrith. He's on the market.
Fk me everyone is going into meltdown. Tigers were solid. We didn't play our game. They had a couple of tries off bad defence from a 19 year old who was playing his 2nd nrl game
No meltdown, just a realistic observation. Yes the tigers showed some heart but the eels threw nothing at them with all the ball and field possession, an massive penalty count in our favour and a man in the bin for the tigers for 10 minutes.

Doesn't matter, we didn't play those teams. We played the Tigers who thrashed the sharks last week and we lost by a point.

Yep tigers are just a better team. No point having a meltdown about it. They handled the little things better and are obviously mentally stronger.
You can't piss away those games if you want to finish top 4. & you can't win the comp from outside the top 4.
BA got it wrong . Changing up the bench that had been doing so well and a big key for us first 3 weeks was a complete stuff up . Juniors days as a starting prop are done . He is a great bench prop and the role suits him perfectly . He was fantastic the first 3 weeks and dreadful today . Playing him 20 minutes into the game without having to do all the early heavy stuff then giving him a spell at half time works perfectly. BA dogged it today .
Benching Hopgood for another of our softer forwards was equally as stupid . Really dumb decision making .
Will that make him play better or are you just a wanker?
