Was speaking to a few mates this morning over the start of the season (cant wait for it!) and they were discussing their expectations for their respective teams this year.
thought id post it to you all: What is your realistic expectations this year for the blue and gold's:
my expectations:
- play as a team rather than rely on one player
- make the top 8 and be competitive
- have a consistently full Parra stadium
what do you guys reckon??

Be competitive for the full 80mins
Finish higher than 11th
See improvement in attack from our halves (now than Haynes gone)
See our forwards hold their own or better.

one word - DEFENCE
Top 8 is a successful year.
Based on our squad, I really think we can shake up the comp this year.
Plus I think a few of the other teams squads aren't as strong. We should be in contention but it all comes down to injuries and taking your chances.
