Now its not fair to call ourselves losers, or idiots or whatever name under the sun you can think of and blame the bunker. Facing the facts, we lost fair and square, to a better team on the day. That touch of the ball at the end was right. The obstruction was the right call. We got lucky with some aswell, but we lost that ourselves and those happen, we're still better than last 5 years.
Now shouldn't be drastic changes after one loss, however last week's win wasn't pretty, and only 1 or 2 players don't warrant a selection next week. In my opinion those 2 are Gutherson and Terepo. Is Gutherson the worst winger we've had? no defiantly not. I actually see most of the support and praise he gets warranted because I see glimpses of good play. Only 10 games experience, but still I don't see what he offers that Morgan doesn't, or Faraimo doesn't. Terepo also isn't terrible, just has a very active on/off switch. gave away 2 penalties very early on and honestly didn't notice him. The call is for Alvaro, and I agree, you know what you're getting with Daniel Alvaro. 50 tackles and 200 metres running in wenty. That's a workhorse. No world beater but give Peni the week in wenty may get him back to form. Do I think Arthur will make changes? no, and I'm fine with that.
We weren't bad today, but definitely not good. Give us time. Defend and the attack will come!!!

Couldnt said it better myself. The difference between Penrith this week and West last week was 2 wise calm old heads in Wallace and Soward calming down the young touch footballers. When Farah was off the field Wests didn't have that..
From memory we have lost all games where we had less than half the possession
We have won all games where we have had at least half the possession
We need Alvaro in the side as he's closest to the mannah mould which was missed today and we are going to have to be ready for a similar style game from the raiders as we got from the west tigers game
As for the game itself unless and until our attack comes good we are going to lose the odd one like that because we can't put teams out of reach
He's a tryer and can play multiple position defiantly a project
You have nailed exactly my thoughts Eel-lectric.........without the frustration I am feeling
Chief, without wanting to be an apologist for Terepo, it is always the unfashionable players who the referees pick on for their "catch up" penalties. Those penalties against him could have been awarded on 20 other occasions but were not. This applies to ruck penalties, offside, stripping or any other discretionary penalty. The superstars never get pinged unless its a whopper.
Terepo had 11 runs for 114m? That's pretty good for a bench player.
