1. Defence was actually a lot better tonight, imagine when Scott and Ma'u are back in the backrow, we may have came closer to winning tonight. We held Wests off our line a fair bit and it was pleasing to see that we can still do that without our main man Scott not being in the middle.
2. De Gois is useless now. Stifiles the play, about 4 times tonight Robson called it and he went to the blind where nothing was on. His passing from dummy half is awful, numerous times players were reaching out or behind them catching his misplaced passes. Ever since competition like Peats left, he has declined. Pritchard looked a lot better than him and maybe could be our future 9. Otherwise we're screwed.
3. Moeroa has improved out of sight towards the back end of the season. He is only going to get better and his attack is starting to become a strength again. 135 metres is exactly what we want to see from an edge back rower. Was disappointed with Tepai last year and beginning of this year as he seemed to decline and was just average, now his injury is behind him and his attack and power running has came back and is just what we need moving forward.
