Ray Hadley on his morning show gave the club an absolute serving. Claiming those within the club state the players are arrogant and treat staff, particularly women staff, poorly. Plus treating past players, Tim Mannah to mind, badly too.
Now one thing I will say is I have and other have said that this team can be arrogant. How many times have we had a few wins in a row and come out guns blazing and crash due to not being as good as what we thought?
I know some here hate Hadley, but I think there is some truth in this, the players show it in some instances in their negotiations, particularly Mahoney and Gutho.
Plus said Sarantinos is practically as boring as paint drying and no inspirational.
This club could use a head of football to work with O'Neill say Brian Smith for example

I think having Brian Smith, who is a wonderful footy mind and great to lean on for a coach for advice. He will be great in a Sheens type role. Not sure if he will be a Gould and but in all the time though, but i think we need that assistance to for both O'Neill and whoever is head coach. Smith though didn't win a comp he still made 4 GF's and developed some wonderful players. Had some success with every club bar Newcastle.
He wont coach, nor should he, but as an overseer for a year or so just stable things will be great.
Smith took a Newcastle team thatd just lost A John's from last to the semi finals within 3 years and his team was a bunch of total nobodies. It was literally one of the worst lineups of NRL players you've ever seen. And yet by the progression they made under him and post John's in 3 years they're have been challenging for the premiership had he stayed another season.
Brian is happily driving for Uber in the gong.
Is he really ? I've never seen or heard anything about him being down here and I know a lot of people around the local footy circles. It's a wonder nobody's seen him.
I've actually met him a few times up around Angourie at his sisters place. Top guy , never mentioned he had any side bitches around the Gong.

Mate I know an ex prop that played in 05 said he wished he had been coached by him at an earlier age . Even though he was at the end of his career said he learnt so much and was easily the best coach he had . The texting not so much .
That wouldn't of been Paul Stringer by any chance ?
