  • Yep.
I couldn't barrack for the Gaiders, but them winning is a plus for us. Go you Eels!
  • Awesome, 6 in front of the Raiders & Warriors, 6 or 8 in front of the Rabbits & Titans (both still to play), 6 in front of the Dogs (have a Bye), 4 in front of the Panthers, 2 in front of the Dragons and either 2 behind if they win or even on 24 points if Broncos, Manly or Cowboys lose.

  • Good stuff!!

My pre season prediction of 4th - 6th spot is looking good

    • 6 sounds pretty realistic, even potentially 5th.
    • Surely you have to take into account our ability to inexplicably choke and just miss out on the finals.
    • Cam you are the ultimate optimist of the 1ee soldiers
    • Haha. I'm hoping this year will be different Chief. You bet I am. We've all been burnt a few too many times.
  • First grade and 20's should both be in 7th after the round if the ladder leading Sharks beat the Titans in the Holden Cup.
  • I never for a minute believed we could make 8,thought 10 at best with Gutherson at 5/8 butttttttt hang on.Not for one second did I think we were going to pick up a specialist half mid season like Moses so now I'm Fcuking unicorn dreaming,no I'm believing not only 8 but if they click on there Day we might give it a shake for a week or two....or even three.....
  • Panthers are the danger team for the 8. They have won 5 of last 7 and have an easy run home with mostly home games and ladder predictor tells me they will win another 4/5 of last 7 putting them on either 28 or 30 pts. Ladder predictor indicates we will win 4, lose 3 and get to 32 pts. Dragons are good for another 3 or 4 wins from 7 as well putting them on 28 or 30 pts. So we need a 4/3 win loss ratio just to be safe on 32.

"Start Samrani either centre or wing. He smashed the sharks and the chooks. Was fast, tackle-busting and once he set his eyes on the try line it was curtains for the opposition.
I'd start him on the wing as not to disrupt Rusty and the combos set up…"
