Raffle for training facilities

A few months ago myself and other Eels ticket holders got calls to donate funds for the upcoming training facilities.As late as last Monday I got a call asking if I'd like to contribute more and was told that the draw for the raffle would take place on Dec 12 with the winners to be called by phone by Sharpie and the results would be posted on the Eels website.I can't find anything about it on the website and when I rang memberships today they didn't seem to know anything.Larissa said she would keep us posted. So, Larissa can you give me an update?Thanks

I doubt that it's a scam as Larissa said that she would keep us posted whereas last year when another was done, there was no communication as to the outcome. I was hoping for a better response as I have donated quite a bit to both these raffles and I'd like to know what the outcome is. Not very professional on Parra's part, I've donated my hard earned money in good faith that it is being used for the benefit of the club that I support.....

Same thing happened to me but I did receive a verification email and I also received a belated ticket in the mail early last week.

True to form I didn't win shit cause the phone hasn't rung yet.

yes, I bought tickets this year and last year. I don't recall ever seeing any announcement of the winners on the Eel's website last year either. It does not make me want to support the club in this way.

Hopefully Larissa will advise who won the prizes or post a link for us to go and look at the winners announcement.

Same deal, I had a lady from Melbourne ring me again a fortnight ago asking if I would buy another ticket as they had only sold something like 350 in total at that point.

Yeah I got some tickets too. Looks like I haven't won any of the prizes. Aahh well hopefully we can get some better facilities out of it.
