A bloke died in a footy game at Ballina today.
He was 29 years old, a big unit and as strong as they come.
He was known as Harry, a big forward who I would not have liked to have tackled!
He wasn't a fat bloke, fit and loved footy. His Dad was a great footy player as well. Played for St George.
I was Zane's or Harry's supervisor for a couple of years and he also worked for me for my natural areas restoration business a few years ago and was great to have on the team. He was no nonsense and just did what he had to do but loved footy.
My thoughts go out to his family, his friends and a mate who is Zane's first cousin.
Terrible and tragic news. I was worried when I saw AAE put a post in the cupboard this afternoon about a player for Lower Clarence dying. The crew I supervised were basically the Lower Clarence footy team. A wild but talented bunch of blokes who I truly respected.
It was Harry.
God bless big man.

Farking unbelievable.
Talented player indeed. Head clash then heart attack apparently?
Sorry to hear it, Grunta.
God bless.
