  • Like I said in the cupboard, the government are more concerned with revenue, than the road toll.

How green and red P plate drivers still wet behind the ears, are given a choice to drive hotted up fours and sixes with blown exhausts and modified engines is beyond belief.

The police commissioner is in on it too. It's a joke
  • Tragic stuff.

    DONT DRUG AND DRIVE!

Stay off the fucking road if you are on drugs or the drink.

  • That’s very, very sad! Such a devastating and incredibly tragic waste of precious lives which should have never happened. I just cannot understand the system which allows people like this behind the wheels of a car. A whole family destroyed becasue of some maniac who should never have been driving. It’s just incomprehensible!

    • one good thing is this prick wont be driving our roads again

  • Junkies and welfare rorters get better treatment than law abiding citizens when it comes to anything licence and roads related . Do you know that criminals like these are able to make deals with the RTA and have driving disqualifications and fines abolished in exchange for doing drug programs .

So if im in jail for driving offences committed whilst on drugs I.e injuring someone I can have my sentence reduced if I agree to do drug programs in jail and then when I get out I have a clean record and fines erased. Also if I’ve lost my licence for 20 years they’ll slash that by a year for every week I’ve done the program .

Thats how this cunt got out of South Nowra and got on our roads .

    • This really is a sad story. Unfortunately there are just too many people in society that have no concern for the welfare of other people.

On the driver, here is a quote from a story on the News website. This is from a former police officer who knew the offender:

“He was a repeat offender. He didn’t care about law. How he got his licence back I will never know. It astounded me that he was out on the road,” the former officer, known only as Andrew told 2GB.

He went on to say Whitall was a “menace to society” and “should have been in jail”.

  • ^ this ^ the only negative is they couldn’t revive him to endure some pain before he died .  Actually paralysed from the neck down would’ve been a pretty good outcome .

  • Just pathetic :-((( makes me sooo cranky

  • I drove past the accident site a few days after it happened with family and boat in tow for a holiday down the south coast . Drove like old people screw. Couldn't believe the number of fukwits on the road driving like they stole it. The only reminder of what happened was scortch marks on the road. They should have left both cars there on the side of the road to remind these fukwits what can and did happen.
  • Addicts past or present on the roads are everywhere people.Thought I would share a quick story. Around 12 months ago I witnessed a car accident coming down into Batemans Bay on the Kings Highway on the south coast. A guy overtook me I estimate doing 130-140km and as he approached the next bend to my suprise I noticed no brake lights came on. The car then rolled six times and landed on its roof. The guy jumped out and said don’t call the cops. The guy behind me in casual dress put on his fluro vest and said don’t worry mate take a seat because there already here. I took one look at him and thought he’s an addict either past or present. A few weeks later I found out that he had written off another car twelve months earlier. An officer than contacted me after that and I said to him if you ever need me in court I would be there because this bloke should never be on the road again. Now from working in the area I have noticed a new car parked in his driveway similar to his last car. It would not suprise if this guy is back on the road. Imbisiles everywhere
