Quitting parramatta

Was just having a discussion with a friend, i was able to convince him to support parramatta as his first team from now on. The tipping point for him was when his beloved bulldogs signed arron woods.

So i was just thinking what would be the tipping point for me to stop supporting this club and tbh i couldnt think of anything unless it was something extremely drastic.

So my question to you guys is, what is your tipping point thatl make you leave parra?

If the boys were instructed to play in there underwear?

If our chearleaders were all men?

If they stopped serving alcohol at games?

If we had just signed anthony mundine on a 10year deal?

What is your tipping point??

  • If we were run by women or muslims id be out.

    • LOL - if we were "run by women" you would be first in line for every meeting Snake.

    • Agree 100% stephen kearney was the worst coach i have ever seen, that guy couldnt coach the queensland origin team to a series win.

  • I've been an Eels supporter since the seventies and I can't think of a thing that would turn me off supporting them

  • Love the replies. As Bob Groom has stated, i to have been cheering the blue n gold since the 70's. Nothing could deter me from leaving the club - nothing. Good question tho.
    • Never , ever , never !!!! The only thing that could have made me contemplate would have been a Mundine signing lol omg I didn't read the whole blog !!!

  • Never!

  • If the club can't once and for all exorcise the demons, that are the spagnolo & Fitzy factions that are desperately seeking any crack in the current armory to stick their noses back in the joint, I'll consider taking a long break from the club.

I'll even consider becoming a Wanderers member, but I'd  never support another nrl team, even though I have a soft spot for the Tigers

    • I have no soft spots....well maybe one!

    • My sentiments, almost exactly, Chief, I couldn't go with the Wanderers.

How great has it been since Max Donnelly took over! No imbecile officials making decisions in the interests of their own agenda rather than the club, no officials opposing each other on factional lines alone just decision making on the basis of what is best for Parra. Not having to begrudgingly admit the truth in jibes from opposition teams' fans at our basket-case administration.

If it was my decision I would allow Max to have the job for life!

Now I think of it clearly, even if all those old problems returned I could never even take a time out from supporting Parra, which I've done passionately since 1966.
