I'm probably on the side of Hoppa to centre, but regardless of that, here is one question to seriously consider. Why did Brooks and Moses continually punt high to Hoppa? Because opposition coaches are noticing a weakness. Recall teams eventually took to kicking out against Hayne or definitely away from him as best thy could. Bomb Hayne from afar and he would slice you from a standing start. Point is teams look at strengths and weaknesses and it's no coincidence Souths and Tigers kicked high to Hoppa. Do you really want your fullback struggling under high ball clearing kicks?
