  • No thank u
  • Is that a per kilo price?
    • haha

    • pretty damned cheap if it was kilo prices

  • Taking into account how well S. Kearney managed our salary cap, i would guess Kelly's on 500k.
  • For 200k for sure, just as a back up, but we wont be getting him for that unless the broncs are paying 300k of his salary and thats not going to happen.

  • Are you guys serious?
Wallace is a quality half. He has played very solid footy at the Broncos for some time. At the beginning of the year he was highly rated and in demand. If we get him he will be a very good purchase. There's no way we'd get him for 200K. We'd need to come up with much more to secure his services.

I really hope Peter Wallace comes to Parra.
    • Camo not sure id call him quality these days, he really has failed to deliver on most levels since he played for NSW, id see him in the bottom 1/3 of halves going around, as i said id take him for 200k which is dirt cheap to use him as a back up, but we wont be getting him for that, he was offered a 3 year 1.5 million deal from penrith not long ago, those are the sort of dollars he will be looking for and will get that in England i recon.

THE manager of ex-NSW halfback Peter Wallace has revealed his client's frustration over becoming one of the big-name casualties of the tug-of-war over NRL superstar Ben Barba.Allan Gainey says Wallace is "prepared to go anywhere" after claiming an about-face from his NRL club the Broncos cost him a Penrith contract believed to be worth $1.5 million.Despite denials from Brisbane coach Anthony Griffin, Gainey said Wallace sought a release almost two months ago when the Penrith offer lobbed but was knocked back by the Broncos. However, Gainey said weeks later the Broncos told Wallace he could seek a release as they joined the hunt for Barba but by then the Penrith offer was off the table.Wallace - once the Blues' Origin No.7 - has since been demoted from the Brisbane starting side and comes off the bench as the back-up hooker."A release was sought seven weeks ago but the coach refused to consider it," Gainey said."But now they are chasing g they want to create room (under the salary cap)."I asked at St George but they got Sam Williams from Canberra."Newcastle didn't have much money to spend at all after signing Michael Dobson from (English) Super League and Penrith have re-signed Isaac John."He is prepared to go anywhere in the NRL if something came up but at the moment there's no options."Parramatta looms as the only option left for Wallace while cashed-up halfback Chris Sandow remains on the outer.
  • I have never been a fan of Peter Wallace but I'd take him for 200k.
