So this season has fast become a disaster and problems from the last few seasons have not gone away.
- Late season slide
- Unable to consistently compete with and beat the top 4 teams
- Defensive structures out wide are a complete mess and we are constantly stripped for numbers
- Attack which relies on long distance tries and kicks
- Mental toughness
How do we change these concerns?
- new players?
- New head coach? New assistant coaches?
- New head of high performance who can ensure we are peaking at the right times?
What are peoples thoughts?

All of the above.
It's very competitive in the top 4 and simply we are not a top 4 roster and we do not have an elite coaching set up
It's not any single factor it's many factors the sum of which equal your success
Parra has improved a lot as a club in the last 3 years but continual incremental improvement is the key - all we can do is cross our fingers
The NRL copied AFL to extend final series from 4 to 8 purely for extra gate money. I admit it does give fans a ray of hope. Just making up numbers although Raiders got to GF from 8th spot one year.
Umm, does anyone remember that we made a GF from 8th in 2009? And what does the number of teams in the finals series have anything to do with the points raised in this blog?
A few teams have actually
warriors in 2011
North Queensland 2017
Canterbury 2014 from 6th
No team out of the top 4 has won a title but they have made the gf in the past
All of the above.
New coach and structures.
Breath of fresh air, and more freedom to the players.
Working on defensive aspects.
Let's just wait till our season actually over
Some actual star players. Not just the ones that get " star" put next to their names by the media.
If BA continues for next season would someone like Jason Taylor be a good assistant coach? Has had success at the Roosters.
If BA is here next year, the same bum coaches will be with him
