  Smith just needs to only have eyes for the ball and not what is coming at him, aka put his body on the line and he will be fine.

  I would say Smith hasn't trained much at fullback this year. His basic skill level for fullback would be down but hopefully a week training at 1 will help him a little. I don't know if Smith is the answer at 1 but Norman would struggle as well with the fitness required.

  I have much bigger concerns with Kirisome's defence on the wing.

  Has no idea under the high ball , and its been a long time since ive seen a winger come flying in as often as he does. He carries the ball strongly but he's a defensive liability.

    Realise the jury's still out on Will's cleaning up at the back.

    But the confidence he would have earn't in attack last game may help him to be more sure in defence.

  Will smith has played all his football at the back when he was with the knights you don't just forget he will just be rusty but he is quality

  I'd like to see Hoffman come in at fullback and leave smith on the Bench.

  pull a switch last minute will smith out hoffman in beau scott in for gower smith instead of frank the tank

  I don't get why so many are infatuated with Hoffman...

  Many have had him replacing French, Gutho and now Smith at the back but I dont get why.

  If anyone watched his last game for Wenty, he was awful and that was on the wing. At Fullback he will be much worse.

  Even his games in NRL this year he hasn't performed up to his reputation. Defence is terrible and he rarely offers much in attack.

  Smith is the man 'til Bev returns or he gets injured.

    First game back I believe, he was pretty bad.. I have always liked the Hof.
    Thought he was solid in the first 6-8 weeks without being flashy.
    If he can get back to his best, he will be a real asset for us

  Smith is better than Hoffman who is a winger at best and bog average at best.
