Question for Tech savvy Parra fans.

I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I've been focusing on Dell's but a couple people have told me to look at Lenovo's.

I had a close friend who had a bad experience with a Lenovo phone so I'm a bit sceptical. My budget is between $1000-$1200.

Main features I'm looking at:

-At least i5

- SSD

- independant graphics card

- 8GB Ram

-15,6'' screen

In general I want to know what experiences posters have had with Lenovo's.

    Dell are a cheap computer but the quantity has fallen lately. Asus is a better laptop than the Lenovo and price otherwise it beats the dell.

      I currently have a Asus and it's fecked me hard. Twice it's fecked 2 hard drives and I want to lauuch it from a window. Bad, bad experience. It been so screwed up that it wont read the hard drive slot and I've had to remove my dvd drive and set it there.

        we have brand new dell's simply died first time used in the office, mother board needing to be replace on one day old computers.

      We use Lenovo’s at work and they’re good. Nothing wrong with a Dell either.....unless it’s last name is Sailor.

      Just buy the apple and spend the extra money and you will be fine, or drink less then you will be able to spend the 2500 ect

    spend a little more get an apple. it took over 3 years before i noticed any lag or change in performance of my budget mac air. my hp's historically slow down and lag first week of ownership and i'm not exagerrating (2 of them). one of them even switched on while it was closed in a travel bag, overheated and melted half the bezel.

      i should say also that when the apple did lag, i just cleaned the disc and brand new again, lightning fast and smooth again. can't rate them highly enough (and i used to be a windows guy).
