Question about Moses

Tbh, ive never really watched him play or taken notice of him. Ive just seen his highlights..Im hearing he is more of an instinct player who plays what he sees rather than a structure player and ive heard he cant tackle to save his life. When it comes to BAs systems, is that the sort of player we need or even want?Have we just replaced Foran with another Sandow?Ps - I also heard he has an attitude problem.Thinks he is special! Can anyone confirm or care to comment.Im a tad worried!Personally, i would have liked to give Foran the rest of this season at NZ and bring him back to us next year hoping that his issues are far enough behind him. But who knows. We got Moses now. Fingers crossed it all works out. Sounds like BA is going to have his hands full with this kid both in terms of mentoring him and structuring his gameIm not confident.I dont have fox, so maybe im wrong but i havent heard Sterlo say much about this aquisition. Doesnt seem too excited. It was only 2 weeks ago sterlo was mocking the notion that Moses would be considered one of the "big 4"In his highlights, Moses looks like an exciting talent, so im excited but also terrified to be let down with another recruitnent dud. Once bitten twice shy is an understatementWith the dicipline and roster we had in 2016 i think Moses could have had the right leadership around him and guidanceBut this year the roster has taken 5steps back culturally, the diciplone isnt there, its probably alot of islander style laughing at training and thats not what we had last season.I dont think moses will develop with out the Michael Gordons, or the Anthony Wotmoughs, or the Danny Wicks types around on the training paddock. The combination of those guys as well as Beau Scott and BA would make a boy a man pretty quickBut Frank Pritchard Kenny Edwards Corey norman being ur senior leaders is not something i see being beneficial for Moses in training.CULTURE was our success last season more so than talent! This season it looks to me like we opted for talent over cultureCould be another case of rocks or diamonds for us with this purchase. And we all know what our luck is like.Let us pray to the gods that we open the case and its diamonds for once

  • Hes not a leading half at this point but hes a natural half imo.

Hes actually a bit like a young Corey, Im not sure how much leadership Moses will offer, yes his defence isnt great either, Corey will still be the leading half.

To Moses credit he has a killer pass, a lot of speed for half, a nice little kick, good vision, he can put people through holes and be put into them himself, hes very handy close to the line, hes got a lot of talent.

Its consistency that he has to work on.

Regarding his attitude, im hearing hes known for having a few tickets on himself and has been described many times on the tigers forum as being a show pony and a guy who loves the mirror and his hair lol, suppose we'll find out when he comes.

Hes only 22 and a change of a club will have a big impact on him.

Mate bringing foran back would be pure madness, Stockholm syndrome from eels fans wanting him back.

    cheers

    • To me he is a bit like Jason Taylor on some ways, but with pace, and hopefully stronger body type for defence
  • He's young has potential and worth the risk, there is no other genuine half back on the market besides Cronk who us likely to retire.
  • Like I have said on other posts I am not a fan of moses
  • First time I've been interested in watching a tigers game. Will be good to see how he goes.
  • Perhaps Moses will give it his all being his last game for Tigers perhaps not. I remember he scored a good try against Eels 2 years ago. Up himself would be an understatement. Winks is the only show pony around today winning 17th race.
  • I used to think Cooper Cronk a show pony but love has mellowed him. Widdop is on fire with form.
  • Well, the last time Sterling spoke highly of the Eels last half back it was a total disaster, ( Foran) ! So I wouldn't take much notice of Sterling. The best option is to trust what Brad Arthur sees in him and give soem time and see what he produces. He's a relative of Benny Elias so he has some good stock in him.
  • Arrrgh ...... god frankie . Shhhhhh don't awake my anxiety the xanax has worn off by 4pm
