Dylan Browns mother has called Crimestoppers and reported him missing. He was a complete passenger tonight. At 24 and 80 odd games , if he's to be the superstar everyone's claiming than you'd expect better than that in a GF.
On a positive , our offer just dropped 150k per year.
I am also sad for our player's Big effort put into this year and they should be proud to get to the GF That is a huge achievement. Penrith played like a very professional outfit and will up be up at the top again next year. Unfortunately, we could not PLAY the Game we are capable of.
Gutho is a very good fullback. I am coming to the view that Dylan,s position is not in the halves. His defense is excellent and he probably would shine in a fullback role with Gutho going into the halves.
I have said it a few times now but I don,t think BA is a smart coach. Very old school in his thinking and approach to the game. His judgments are poor and he is reluctant to shift in his way of thinking and has little upside in him.
I hope the club board has a good rethink on how we approach next year to get up to clubs like Penrith.
Gutho is probably no where near the full back we need. Good under the high ball no doubt. But grubbers, defence reads, hitting holes isn't his game.
Respect is ingrained in the Penrith jersey through their development system.
I look at our side and not many players are Parramatta Juniors, that is a massive problem.
The history of the club means nothing to most of the current squad, the 36 years bullshit doesn't mean squat to them.
Penrith are currently where we were in the late 90s to early 2000s, a production line...... problem is there is no end in sight for the Panthers production line whereas it would take us a minimum 5 years to establish anything near what they have.
Unfortunately I'm not liking our chances of being successful anytime soon.
All of them got out played by a unbelievable Penrith team. We still didn't show up though. Rcg, Paulo, matto all got shut down. Can't just name one player but everyone was done in.
Fair enough Gordo, but im certainly not proud of a performance like that, and i'd suggest to eels fans if you are proud of that, maybe you need to raise the bar a bit.

Part of the blame is the coaching. No change of angles of guys around him. In any form of the game having angled runners is paramount. It catches guys out of the line like panthers first try.
Change at the top has to happen before pre season training
