Props

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought props were supposed to run straight & hard to bend the line & giv the backs a platform to attack. Why then were the NSW boys trying to step, dodge & weave there way like prancing bloody halfbacks to find a way thru. These pair are two of the biggest forwards running around but playing that style, they lose all momentum so when they hit the line it's easily defendable.Watch Nathan Brown lads, he may be slightly smaller but he knows his best asset is running straight & hard at the opposition.

  • props were really not the problem i would stick with the same team we would have won if it were not for some very duboius calls

  • Hard to run through brick walls when ur made of butter
    • did you guys even watch the game we won post contact meters in the first half for sure not sure about the entire game we put hits on in D and in attack you are just making up shit up our forwards were the best pack on the park

  • I thought Klemmer was great last night doing exactly what you say - straight and hard.
    • He was, I meant the other two cream puffs.
  • I think turbo and klemmer were really good especially turbo he is a weapon. Fifita was crap and like you said matt prancing around.
  • Whatever our second half strategy was it was a fail
I agree - Fafita and Woods should have been running hard and not stopping at the line
Looked like a deliberate plan that failed
    • fifita was not doing that he was marked up on really well and thats what aaron woods has always done he is not the type to bend the line

  • fafita was going hard but QLD were making sure he was marked up and to put many in the tackle to minimized his impact and woods put hits on got a couple good runs in and he is not the type of forward to bend the line he hits it they jump on him but he keeps moving slowly  but i agree i would rather paul vaughn  but aaron is still a good choice

"Exactly, Muttman. It's about habits and mindset. Everyone always says trial form means nothing, but some players don't like to loss coin tosses or ping pong rallies no-one is watching."
