Pritchard ruled out for season

Following scans undertaken this morning, Kaysa Pritchard will undergo season ending surgery in the coming days.

Kaysa has torn both his lateral collateral ligament (LCL) and his posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in his knee.

We wish him all the best for his recovery and at this stage it is expected that he will be available for preseason training towards the end of the year.

Beau Scott is currently still being assessed following a second half injury. The Club will provide a full update in due course.

  • Poor bugger, you can't question his heart or his ticker.

Having him as our first choice dummy half was always a risk.

  • Shit house news, feel for him, must be shattering for him, right when he was really improving and stepping up.

Sucks to see a bloke who gives 110% go down like that, thanks for your efforts this year Kaysa, all eels fans know you give 100%, all the power to you in your recovery.

  • Such a shame really, I quite enjoy watching him play and I even liked that fact that he was making me eat my words and drastically change my opinion on him. Get well soon mate
  • That's a kick in the guts just as he was getting into a groove.

Hope he gets well soon and comes back stronger and better in 2018.

  • Really feel for the young guy, was on the improve every game. Get well soon Kaysa.

So does this now force BA's hand to stump up extra $$$$ to sign Peats ?????

  • Tough break for the kid, just when he was starting to put some good performances on the field. No-one could ever question his toughness or effort.

  • We will miss his energy on the park at this point of the season big time, hes an up tempo player.

  • Who steps in Cameron king?
    • I'd say King and Smith, will be switching it up.

    • handy: I say Cody Nelson. It`s time the coach gave him a real dig as rake in Ist grade.
