Players Below have contracts ending 2023 unless otherwise stated, in order of prioirity

Dylan Brown: Absolutely must, whatever it takes up to $1m.

Mitchell Moses (PO 2024): Absoulutely must keep up to $1m

Will Penisini: Do what can to keep without paying to much overs. Killing it at only 19.

Shaun Lane: Keep at current rate.

Sean Russell: Keeper at right price

Bailey Simonsson (PO 2024): Keeper if price is good value

Waqa Blake: On $600. Would let go unless he is happy with $300. Penisini is a priority.

Wiremu Grieg: Keep on low amount. Standout prop with Ogden from reserves.

Ofahiki Ogden (CO 2024): Keep on low amount. Standout prop with Grieg from reserves.

Bryce Cartwright: I would keep for right price but no point unless given game time.

Hayze Perham (2022): Keep as utility on low amount

Brendan Hands (not sure when): Seems OK but have not seen much of him.

Solomone Naduki (2022): Keep at lowest rate

Maika Sivo: Let go. He does some great things but does not have the fitness for NRL. Think it is time to move on.

Mitch Rein: Let go. Have not been impressed

Jacob Arthur: Let go. Some who know more than me say he can play but I don't see him being an NRL half.

David Hollis: Not performing. Let go.

  • Blake's deal is still being paid for from Penrith i believe, they are forking out some of the coin.

    Naiduki, Hollis, Cartwright all gones.

Brown, Moses and Penisini must keeps

Lane, Blake and Simonsson can keep for current money, little bit more maybe.

    • Nothing against Blake but Penrith won't be paying the next contract and don't think we can afford $600k for him when we have other priorities for the cap space

      • Well they did for RCG, so never know. But they would be stupid to do that again. Though Blake is not worth 600k nobody in the market would pay that. Blake got 600k as he was seen as a future Origin centre, not even close.

        • Have u seen Farnworth try passing? He needs to develop it massively.

    • Naiduki will probably be minimum wage so don't see why we couldn't keep

  • What about Zach Docker Clay, always thought he'd make a great 14, but haven't seen much of him in recent years.

Anyone know more, aside from him being at the dogs?

    • He has never made the grade, an espouted junior at Parra and just never had the goods......

      • Has been at eels panther dogs and i think he may have had a stint in super league. May be wrong . As pop said good junior. But that's as far as he went.

  • We will have 6 players taking up about 5 mil of the cap (MM, DB, Gutho, RCG, JP, RM) plus Will Penisini and Lane and our hooker stocks are sketchy. The rest of the team needs to average $200k
