Pritchard also injured

Just when the Eels thought it couldn't get any worse following the loss of Nathan Peats, back-up hooker, Kaysa Pritchard, is being treated for a shoulder injury.

"Under 20s hooker Kaysa Pritchard is being treated for a shoulder injury (return date to be confirmed)."

With that injury the Eels are very thin in their dummy-half ranks. It will almost definitely see Luke Kelly return to first grade with either Ben Jones, Zach Dockar-Clay or Liam Foran making their NRL or club debuts.

There are also rumours that the Eels have sounded out Cronulla hooker Michael Lichaa and Titans rake Matt Srama for possible mid-season moves.

I think I'll just go slam my head into a brick-wall now. We were a big chance of making the finals with Peats there. Now we don't even have our number two hooker ready to go.

  • yep, it's all on Hayne's shoulders like 2009 now.

    • Even in 2009 he had Kevvy Kingston for at least 30 minutes.

  • Get kingston back here for the remainder of the season
  • Kelly will b hooker boys.
    • Can he tackle now?

    • No he won't
    • 9: Kelly

    • Srama would be a good pick up.
  • Justin Hunt to my disbelief played some games at hooker in NSW Cup at the start of the year.

After last weeks showing in his preferred position I don't think poor Justin will see 1st grade again in any position.
